On a recent visit Prime Minister
Helen Clark was presented with a presentation package
of information and promotional items for the 2005 New
Zealand Masters Games to be held in Wanganui.
Presented by Wanganui Mayor, Chas
Poynter, the Prime Minister was very
interested in the Games and what a wonderful achievement
had been reached by Wanganui to stage such an event.
The Masters Games is now acknowledged as the largest
Multisport event in New Zealand.
