ENTER NOW! REGISTRATIONS CLOSE NEXT WEDNESDAY, 12th JANUARY.
Well, less than a month until this event get's underway –- and what an event we've got lined up for you all. A diverse selection of well organised sports during the day through to a great selection of entertainment in the evenings back at the Powerco Games Village. Certainly not an event to be missed –- be part of it!

Registrations have been flying and we're working hard to get the information back to you as soon as possible. However, we are here to take your registration up until Wednesday, 12th January so please make sure you fill out that registration form and get it to us by then –- this can be done by post to P O Box 500, Wanganui, by fax to 06 –- 345 0015 or indeed via our very user friendly online registration system at www.nzmg.com. Or even drop it into our office at Springvale Park where we will be delighted to assist you.

NB. Registrations must come through the Games office. Also, after the close off date certain sports, but not all, will still accept registrations but there will be an additional penalty fee.

WHAT DO YOU GET FOR YOUR REGISTRATION FEE?
Everyone that registers gets a Games Pack –- this includes a superb Games Bag, goodies including a water bottle and chocolate bars inside –- as well as access to the Powerco Games Village every day of the event. There will be entertainment and activities every day (visit http://www.nzmg.com/2005-wanganuipages/v04-daily.html for full details) and this year's added value is the Wanganui Lifestyle Expo and Tom Green Lounge with live jazz every night. Look out also for the times for the key note speakers.

WONDERING HOW TO GET INVOLVED?
This event accommodates for all skill levels so pick your sport and get involved. The Twilight Combo is proving very popular for those wanting a ‘"social" involvement, while the ever popular runs and walks can be done at your own pace! The team sports are forever well supported and most sports codes can fit you into a team if you're looking to play a team event –- make contact with the Sport Co-ordinator or this office for help there.

Alternatively you may just wish to become a supporter and enjoy the camaraderie and reunion that can provide you. Buy the excellent value Supporter Pass for access on all nine days (night passes are not necessarily available) and get entry to the Entertainment Marquee as well as the Games Bag and goodies.

WINNER OF THE $100 MEAL VOUCHER!
We are delighted to announce that the winner of the Prize Draw of a $100 Meal Voucher for anyone registering in December was Wanganui's own Wayne Thomson. Wayne will be playing Touch at this year's event. Well done Wayne and enjoy!

TRAINING
Whether you're a beginner or of a good fitness standard, we have training programmes on our site to guide you. You will note Wanganui Athletics are also running a Masters theme to their club nights to help you prepare.
