Below is general information regarding our events at the next games, full information will be in your registration pack on arrival at the Games Village.

VENUE: Westpac Velodrome, Cooks Gardens, St Hill St, Wanganui
DATE: Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th February 2005.
TIME: Track Sessions - Start 6.00pm each night
TRACK EVENTS
Venue: Westpac Velodrome, Cooks Gardens, St Hill St, Wanganui

ROAD TIME TRIAL:
Venue: 24km – The start and finish point for the time trial will be adjacent to the Durie Hill School, Portal Street. Riders will travel in an easterly direction on a relatively flat course to the Fordell Village and return to finish at the school.
Map available at Games Headquarters.
Dates: Friday 11th February
Times: First Rider away at 9:30am
ROAD RACES:
Venue: 40km and 60km using Francis Road course – map available at Games Headquarters.
Dates: Saturday 12th February.
Times: Races - start at 9.00am
BIKES:Track and Road: Track bikes must be used in the 3 lap sprint, 1500m scratch race and the 6000m scratch race. But, road bikes will be acceptable to use in the Individual Pursuits. All clip on bars or any variation of a handle bar extension are banned in the road races.
START SHEETS: Start sheets for all cycling events and the programme for the track racing will be on display on the notice board at the Games Headquarters.
RACE NUMBERS: Your race numbers will be issued at the race venues. Riders may not have the same number for each event. Numbers must be uplifted at least 30 minutes before your race start time.
ADVERTISING: Advertising will be permitted on clothing provided it does not conflict with the major sponsors of the Games.
PRESENTATIONS: All medal presentations will take place at the race venues.
ACCOMMODATION:

Motel, Hotel and other accommodation will be in big demand during the period of the Games and especially in the later part of the week, so make sure you book early. See games Entry Book for listings, or call Games Headquarters for Homestay options.
