Fordell Hotel.
As a result of flood damage, the start for the Duathlon will be the
Fordell Hotel, No 3 Line, Fordell.
The directions are:-
Proceed up Portal Street to Durie Hill and follow the main road (No 3
Line to Fordell – approximately 12kms.
The run is away from the Hotel for 2.5km – out and back. The ride
turns into Warrengate Road, turns, then left onto No 3 Line back to
Durie Hill, where the turn will be at the Durie Hill School, then back
to the Hotel. The second run is the same as the first.
Both run and ride are flat to undulating.
The Fordell Community Pool will be open from 10.00am to 12 noon
- bring your togs.
Pub meals will be available at the Fordell Hotel.
NOTE – Cycling – NO drafting. |
