EQUESTRIAN & CARRAIGE DRIVING

Welcome to the Equestrian & Carraige Driving Masters Competition 2005.

This will provide you with general information regarding our event at the next games- please refer to the Entry Form for full details

Welcome to the fun and joy of horse riding, in fairness and sportsmanship.

DATE: Saturday 5th to Sunday 13th February 2005
VENUE: All facilities at this venue are hired. Wanganui Counties RFC hall & amenities, Horrocks Park and Macnab Domain Complex – home to the Makirikiri Pony club. All venues are sited on the Kaiwhaiki Road off the Parapara Highway (SH4) near the Upokongaru Village, Wanganui.
TIME: Refer to schedule. Individual event details will be sent to you at close of entries.
FACILITIES: For your convenience – Hot and cold showers, toilets, fridge, camping.
For your horse – No temporary fencing allowed, horses must be yarded at night, grazing available during daytime, wash down facilities available.
ACCOMMODATION: See the entry form for details of accommodation. Homestay facilities are also available.
RULES: Dressage & Showjumping run under ‘NZEF and NZCDS’ rules. Horse Trial run under ‘NZPCA’ rules. Please note you are required to supply a fence steward. Games rules will be sent out at close of entry, ‘NZPCA’ rules applied for running of this event. Trek & BBQ are social events, please read disclaimer.
There is no prize monies or points attached to the running of these events, except Carriage Driving graded dressage.
Do no move or shift any other person’s horse.
Please respect the ‘No Dogs Policy’ which will be enforced.
GRADES: Two grades only, all events – Riding 35 – 49 & 50+, Driving- 30-54 & 55+
PRIZEGIVING: Medals for each event will be presented at the conclusion of that event.
DISCLAIMER: The New Zealand Masters Games, Wanganui ‘Equestrian Committee and the
Land/Property owners take no responsibility for the injury to horse and/or riders,
and will not be responsible for any vet or medical fees.

MEDALS: Two sets of medals in each class.
