Welcome to the Pool Masters Competition 2005.
02 February 2005 - NEWS UPDATE
An increase in entries
for both 8-ball and 9-ball pool, particularly in the
women's
40-plus and 50-plus, has put pressure on the playing
venues.
As a result,
some sections of the men's 50-plus singles in
both 98-Ball and 9-Ball will be played at St Johns
Club.
Entries in some of the women's 60-plus sections
are too low to hold separate events. The women's
60-plu pairs in both 8-Ball and 9-Ball and the 9-Ball
singles are being merged with the women's 50-plus
events, being played on the Saturday or Sunday.
Entries
for the pool are remaining open until noon on Monday,
31 January and late entries must reach Games
headquarters by that time. No late entry fee is being
charged.
The draw for all events will be made immediately
after the close of entries and will be posted to
all competitors
on Tuesday, 1 February, as well as being in packs
handed out on registration at Games headquarters.
